Time Through Life

The clock moves the same,
Yet some years fade, while others linger.
8 years feel like a moment of breath,
been like a spring-
stretching and shrinking with experience.
The past drifts into the present
blurring at the edges,
for the present is merely the past in motion,
surrounded by anxious questions
and the uncertainty of the future.
Each sunrise comes as a copy of the last,
but step beyond the path,
and embrace the stillness.
In silence,
feel time ripple as moments grow.
Remember, a year is not in its length,
But in the weight of moments lived.
So live your life - not just exist!
