Fractals of Thought

It begins as a whisper, a flicker, a spark—
a stray thought drifting through the static,
too faint to hold, too fleeting to name.
But thoughts do not live in silence.
They stretch, they twist, they multiply,
like ink dissolving into water,
like branches unfurling from an unseen root.
One idea births another,
two become ten,
ten become infinite—
a single drop swelling into an ocean,
a ripple unravelling into a storm.
What if, what then, what now?
The mind refuses stillness,
never content with one answer,
never meant for quiet
when movement is all it knows.
And so, I sit,
watching the chaos take shape—
a single thought unravelling,
fracturing, blooming,
becoming something
I never meant to dream.
Because no thought ever truly dies—
it just waits for the right mind to set it on fire.

Meet the Author:
I’m Bhavya Dakavaram, a storyteller and artist at heart. Whether through words or dance, I love expressing the depths of my thoughts and emotions. Writing is where I weave ideas into lasting echoes, and dance is where I let movement speak when words fall short. My work is a fusion of logic and creativity, shaped by curiosity, experience, and a relentless drive to explore. Every story I tell—on paper or on stage—is a reflection of the world as I see it, ever-evolving and full of meaning.
