ISSUE 03: GRIMM F"ai"RYTALES

We are back with yet another exciting issue for the Introspect Magazine. In addition to changing the website, the over all look and the guidelines around the magazine, we have started thinking about what fairytales and folktales would look like in the future.
Folktales and fairytales have been the heart of any culture, whether it is about garlic repellent vampires or witches that lock up children to eat them, this has been a core part of culture. Now, at the height of technology and technological colonization, Introspect Magazine would like to prompt the writers to imagine what these folktales would be from here on and how the existing folktales and fairytales would change in the light of technology and environmental destruction.
You can choose any story and reshape it. The idea is to bring awareness to how the background and settings would shift in a world where forests are not green, data centers have taken over, animals are non existent. What happens to Red Riding Hood if the Big Bad Woolf did not exist anymore? What if the Woolf is a robot instead? What would the forest look like? What happens to the candies in Hansel and Gretel?
These are some of the questions through which you will reimagine the stories. Think broader, think about culture, art and fashion, how would that differ?
