Submission Guidelines for Creepy Fairytales Writing Contest
Welcome Welcome fellow Mortal Humans !
The fairies are not kind, they are not here to serve you. You are but a filthy, useless human-prey they can trick and feast on and they will tear your face apart. Dance with them and you end up dancing for eternity. Trick them and well... never trick them!
The mythical and the magical world beyond what we see today is not just a story. These superstitions and beliefs are part of our culture. But what happens when the modern meets the magical? Are we still able to think of a tree deity emerging from a tree when the tree is in the middle of a busy street? Are House elves loosing their jobs because of a dish washer or a robotic vacuum cleaner? Can Charon the ferryman cross a plastic polluted river?
You do not have to be J.K Rowling to write about myths, fairies and legends. You just need a pen and paper and a whole lot of imagination. So imagine.

Make sure the word count doesn't exceed 2000 words
For poetry make sure it is under 70 lines
