Strawberry Daydreams

"Sleep, a sweet, unbroken song,
Happiness echoed all day long.
A world painted in vibrant hues,
Where only joy and wonder grew.
Dad's strong arms lifted me, soaring through the air,
Mom's soft lap, a throne beyond compare.
Silly words spilled out, unfiltered and bright,
Innocence shone, a pure and radiant light.
Crayon murals bloomed on the kitchen wall,
Life's gentle breeze, no sudden squall.
My childhood, a strawberry daydream's grace,
A natural spark, upon my face.
Each occasion, a treasure, uniquely grand,
Joyous moments, hand in hand.
Summers merged, a family's warm embrace,
Like stars clustered, in time and space.
Family gatherings, a constant, radiant sight,
Like an orion, in the nebular night.
Then, the world's logic, a harsh, unwelcome sound,
Restlessness bloomed, where peace was found.
My childhood, a strawberry daydream's gleam,
Now a faded photograph, a distant dream.”
