Tyranny

Why is it
When somebody hurts me,
Instead of hating them,
I despise existence of mine?
Why is it
Even the smallest hurt
Makes each fiber throb so bad
That it nearly chokes me to death?
Why do
the most insignificant things
Become significant ones,
And are felt in my core?
Someone? Anyone?
Do me a favor,
Or at least out of pity,
Break it to me—
How do humans,
created with love,
Sent to love,
Commit blasphemy against it?
Despicable!
An utter tyranny,
Ruthlessly committed
Against the sanctuary of love!
